On the morning of December 13, 2025, Doan Thi Diem Primary School organized an Open House English educational activity. The event aimed to introduce English teaching and learning activities to students and parents, while providing students with opportunities to directly participate and experience an open learning environment in line with the Open House model.
The professional activity was honored by the presence of the School Board of Management, all members of the English Department, and representatives of students’ parents, who attended, observed, and accompanied the activities. The close attention and cooperation among all educational stakeholders contributed to a positive, friendly, and effective learning atmosphere.
By integrating the content of the School-level English Talent Contest into the Open House lesson, the school created opportunities for students to access and experience various learning formats such as presentations, communication, debates, and problem-solving in English right in the classroom. This approach helped students apply their learned knowledge to real-life situations and gradually become familiar with participating in intellectual English activities and competitions.
The activities in the Open House lesson were designed with a student-centered approach, enhancing interaction and promoting students’ initiative and creativity. Through these activities, students practiced communication skills, quick responses, teamwork, and built confidence in using English. At the same time, they developed resilience and a positive mindset toward participating in learning activities and competitions.
The Open House English educational activity, closely linked with the School-level English Talent Contest, was successfully conducted and left a strong positive impression on the School Board of Management, teachers, parents, and students. The activity reaffirmed the effectiveness of the Open House model in innovating teaching methods, strengthening the connection between school and family, and contributing to the improvement of the quality of English teaching and learning at the school.
Through this model, the school aims to build an open, friendly, and effective English learning environment, helping students gradually develop confidence, interest, and competence in using English, while laying a solid foundation for their participation in English activities and contests in the coming school years.
