Following the success of the previous rounds, on the morning of December 13, 2025, the Final Round of the English Talent Contest was held in a lively, serious, and meaningful atmosphere. The contest was honored by the presence of Mr. Tran Trong Khiem – the School Principal, Ms. Nancy – the foreign judge, together with all members of the English Department and representatives of students’ parents, who attended, observed, and enthusiastically supported the contestants.
The close attention and guidance of the School Board of Management, the thorough and responsible preparation of the teaching staff, and the strong support from parents all contributed to a positive competitive atmosphere. These factors served as great encouragement, helping students confidently demonstrate their English abilities.
In the Final Round of the English Talent Contest, 20 outstanding students were divided into four teams to take part in debate competitions on four different topics. The topics were age-appropriate and closely connected to students’ learning and daily life. The teams showed careful preparation, a strong sense of teamwork, effective cooperation, as well as initiative and creativity in each presentation and rebuttal.
Through the debate sessions, students clearly demonstrated their confidence, composure, and ability to handle situations effectively. They also showed relatively fluent and accurate use of English. Many students displayed strong critical thinking skills, quick responses, clear arguments, and the ability to express their ideas logically in English in front of the judging panel and the audience.
The Final Round of the English Talent Contest was not only an activity to assess students’ abilities but also a meaningful intellectual playground that provided students with opportunities to practice communication, debating, and critical thinking skills in English. The contest was successfully conducted, leaving a strong positive impression on the School Board of Management, teachers, parents, and students, and making a practical contribution to improving the quality of English teaching and learning at the school.
Through this contest, the school continues to affirm its orientation toward building a positive English learning environment, helping students gradually develop confidence, interest, and passion for the English language, and effectively contributing to the goal of improving the overall quality of education.
